You can get 'irreversible damage' from smoking or constantly being around second hand smoke, drinking alcohol, and eating bad food. There's even prescription or over the counter drugs that can cause 'irreversible damage'. You would have to do either high dosages of MDMA constantly or mix MDMA with Benzos (or some other drugs like PMA) to reach something as serious as serotonin syndrome. It's more of an empty handed rebuttal if anything. If you roll just once with proper dosage, pre/post loading, drink plenty of water, and take plenty of recovery time there's almost null damage to the body.
